Domestic Abuse Support Worker
Kia has a background in nursing, support work and peer support, through which she has developed experience in safeguarding, risk assessment and supporting individuals and families facing complex challenges.
Her lived experience of intimate partner violence and child-to-parent violence also informs her calm, empathetic and non-judgemental approach. As a parent of neurodivergent children, Kia understands some of the additional complexities families may experience when supporting children with additional needs.
She is committed to trauma-informed, person-centred practice that prioritises safety, choice and empowerment.
