We are pleased to say that our Lotus domestic abuse recovery programme is one of 50 SafeLives Leading Lights accredited services!
This accreditation exemplifies the high quality standard of the Lotus domestic abuse recovery programme, ensuring that anyone who attends our programmes receives an exceptional level of care. With content designed specifically around the SafeLives Leading Lights standards, the courses not only support clients during the group sessions, but also in the lead up to them, in recognition of the extra help that any victim of trauma needs in their recovery. Our clients are supported by knowledgeable and non-judgemental staff who tailor the sessions around their individual needs whilst maintaining their safety as our top priority. We focus on hope and resilience whilst discussing core topics of the dynamics of abuse and warning signs, empowering women whose lives have been affected by domestic abuse to act for themselves and keep themselves and their families safe.
SafeLives described feedback as “overwhelmingly positive with clients reporting the programme helped them have more self-confidence, feel less isolated, and enhanced their understanding of abuse”
“I know what an abuser is now and the tactics they employ. I won’t tolerate it and know that I can keep myself safe. It’s changing how I feel, which is so much happier going forward from here”.
