Work With Us
We are committed to the Brighton & Hove/Lewes Living Wage Campaign,
Our CEO and trustees recognise that the National (Living) Wage does not take into account the cost of living. We believe that our valued staff – and all people – should not have have to work multiple jobs to make ends meet as it forces them to spend less time with their families, lowers their quality of life, makes them less productive at work and damages their physical and mental health.
We realise we need to embody the changes we want to see in the world. Taking a stand will put pressure on other charities, businesses and government to do the same.
We are a Disability Confident employer. We believe that people with disabilities and long term health conditions should have equal opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
We have committed to following The Halo Code, which upholds the rights of our employees to come to work with their natural hair, as associated with their ethnic, racial and cultural identities. This is specifically designed to prevent discrimination against Black and Afro hair in the workplace.
We have signed the pledge to always #ShowTheSalary for the roles we advertise. We are displaying the Show The Salary logo to demonstrate our ongoing commitment.
