Kim

Whole Family IDVA

Kim joined our charity in September as a Whole Family IDVA, supporting both our DA Recovery and our CAPVA work.

She brings a wealth of experience from working in both statutory and voluntary organisations, where she has supported young people, adults, and families. Her background includes work in youth offending prevention, support around sexual and criminal exploitation, drug and alcohol services, and sexual health.

More recently, Kim qualified as a Counsellor and draws on her therapeutic training to ensure the people she works with feel truly heard and supported. As a mum, step-mum, and foster mum, she understands first-hand the challenges and complexities of parenting and caring for young people. Kim takes a trauma-informed approach in all her work and is deeply committed to making a positive difference for families.
